Sir Bruce Forsyth dies aged 89

TV host and National Treausre, Sir Bruce Forsyth, has died aged 89, it has been confirmed.

The strictly come dancing host hadn’t the best of health in recent months.

He underwent surgery in 2015 after he suffered two aneurysms, which were discovered when tests were carried out following a fall at his Surrey home.

He most recently had a chest infection, recovering in hospital for five days before returning home.

He had to refuse a number of potential TV appearances due to his ill health.
