Stephen Hawking backs Corbyn, announcing that he will vote Labour

Arguably the smartest man on the planet, Stephen Hawking, has said he will be voting for Labour.

Professor Stephen Hawking has backed Cambridge Labour MP candidate Daniel Zeichner stating in a meeting with the MP: “I’m voting Labour because another five years of Conservative government would be a disaster for the NHS, the police and other public services.”

Mr Zeichner said: “I was delighted to meet Professor Hawking again and receive his support for my re-election and a Labour government.”

This was both confirmed by the Independent and Cambridge News.

Professor Hawinkings, who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease aged 21, is a staunch defender of the NHS and is against privatisation.
