Breaking: May announces snap election for 8th June

Prime Minister Theresa May has shocked many by calling a snap election for the 8th June. In an announcement made today at No.10 Downing Street, May called a general election – this comes just a day after it was revealed the Tories were 21 points ahead in the polls, 46% compared to Labour’s 25%.
